My Services

Family History

WHAT: Your family history, all in one place

WHY: Most people have pieces of their family history scattered across folders, boxes, and computer files. Writing a family history is a journey of discovery and preservation that weaves together these scattered pieces into a complete narrative.

HOW: We select a starting point, perhaps a great-grandparent’s immigration, an ancestor’s birth in the old country, or a pivotal family event, and then trace the story forward through time. Following this thread preserves history and helps family understand how one generation’s choice shaped the next.

FINAL PRODUCT: A beautiful softcover book with photos + digital copy of our interviews.

TIMING: This is an in-depth, personalized two-months long process that includes 4-5 60-minute conversations, followups, photo curation, and a final review session.

In-person or virtual

WHAT: Meaningful letters to the people who matter most

WHY: We often don’t carve out the time, or are caught unprepared, or feel too overwhelmed to truly express our hopes, dreams, and regrets to those we love.

HOW: We sit down together in comfortable, unhurried conversations where I get to know you, understand your intentions, and help you identify what matters most. Through these sessions, you choose what is important to express: what has brought you joy, your family values, parts of history you would like to live on, or other topics dear to your heart.

THEMES: Gratitude. Life Lessons. Advice. Memories. Blessings. Apologies. Explanations.

FINAL PRODUCT: A collection of elegantly printed letters, along with a digital copy of the storyteller reading the letter.

TIMING: Four in-depth 60-minute conversations, plus time for editing, review, and printing.

WHAT: Personal stories about defining experiences

WHY: Storytelling and remembering invites self-reflection, connection, and a greater understanding of meaningful experiences that have shaped a life.

HOW: We get to know each other through casual conversations so I understand what is important to you and how to best guide you. Then I develop personalized questions to draw out your stories.

FINAL PRODUCT: An elegantly printed story collection, with accompanying photos, that contains short chapters dedicated to each of these experiences + personal digital files of our conversations.
