My Services

Legacy Letters

WHAT: Meaningful letters to loved ones.

WHY: We often don’t carve out the time, or are caught unprepared, or feel too overwhelmed to truly express our hopes, dreams, and regrets to those we love.

THEMES: Gratitude. Life Lessons. Advice. Memories. Blessings. Apologies. Explanations.

FINAL PRODUCT: A collection of elegantly printed letters, along with a digital copy of the storyteller reading the letter.

TIMING: Four 60-minute conversations over four weeks.

Family History

WHAT: Your family history, all in one place.

WHY: Most people have pieces of their family history scattered across folders, boxes, and computer files. Through guided conversations, I’ll help you create a succinct family history all in one place that can be easily shared.

WHAT PEOPLE WRITE ABOUT: Memories and stories that have been passed down in bits and pieces, but never put together. You tell the story, starting from a point in the past to the present day, to finally document your family’s history.

FINAL PRODUCT: A beautiful chapbook + a digital copy of our interviews.

TIMING: Four 60-minute conversations over four weeks + time for editing and review.

Story Collections

WHAT: Personal stories about defining experiences.

WHY: To reflect, remember, document, and preserve key moments. Telling stories invites self-reflection, connection, and a greater understanding of meaningful experiences that have shaped a life.

EXAMPLES: “My Record Player and Me.” “A Teenager Grows in Brooklyn.” “How I Went From Housewife to Hippie.”

FINAL PRODUCT: An elegantly printed collection of 3-5 personal narratives + digital files of our conversations.

TIMING: 60-minute sessions each week, number of weeks varies.

Backstory Workshops

What: In-person groups that provide the time, space, and guidance to reflect on and document the stories that have shaped your life.
Why: Connection, reflection, expression.
How: Prompts and activities that spark memory and discovery.
Themes. My biggest regret. The decision that changed my life. The story of my teapot. The best advice I have received.
Final Product: Your finished work + a “Moth”-style reading during the last class.
Timing: 4-week sessions, each class is 60 minutes
